Default Serious upgrade

Hey all

New to the forum. So hello. My '95 Z71 1/2 ton has 283k miles on it. The motor is tired and the tranny is slipping. Need new shocks and the leaf springs are worn slap azz out. The body is straight with only minor farm/hunting use discoloration and scratches. So a few days ago my wife and I made a serious upgrade. Wanted a duramax, but after careful consideration and talking with my dad (a life long mechanic), I opted for 2005 chevy silverado 2500hd 4x4 6.0L. Any how, crusing around on here checking out ideas and what not thought I would share my new toy.

Rocky

The 6.0 is a helluva engine. Really wish I had 4wd though. Congrats on your new chevy though.

Default Chevy 6.0

I have a 2500HD 4 by with a 6.0 and 6 speed tranny. I put a cold air intake in it and a Diablo tune on it. It sucks up Mustangs, but I only get 11 miles per gal. no matter how I drive.
