Default Set timing connector

I cannot for the life of me find the black and tan wire in the junction block in my 89 350. Does anyone know exactly which screw is holding down the wire. I believe there are like 5 screws holding wires down, I just have no black and tan wire. My symptoms are stumbling idle and stumbling upon slow accellateration (in or out of gear).
Thanks
Eric

There is a tan wire with black stripe on the firewall, normally just off to the passenger side of the motor, you probably have some black plastic electrical junction covers on the firewall just look near those but close to the passenger side valve cover. Once you find the wire it has a black bullet type connector that can be unplugged by hand.
