Bilstein by far. I don't think they offer lift shocks, but for stock replacement and lowering, thats the way to go. They are decently priced too.

ive heard yes and no. but i got some rough country's and i like them. people say they sag after a while but ive had em for almost a year and they are wonderful to me. granted they are one hard son of a gun to compress and fit into the rear part of the truck. i let one extend all the way down and it lifted my truck up half inch. it took all my strength and then some to compress it again. and they have lift shocks too and are great price. i mean 25 each. not bad for me.

There are a lot of personal preference issues here concerning ride firmness. I like the Ranchos, but many people who rode in my van thought they made the ride too firm and "truckish".

Now I'm using Monroe Reflex, but for my next set it'll either be Gas-Magnums, or Rancho RS7000s; my preference is for a stiffer ride & less pitching about.

In any event, unless you like the cushiest, softest ride, gas is the way to go.
