Default shocks

Has anyone replaced their shocks with monroe sensa trac? I bought a set for the front and the mounting points arent the same as the ones on there now. any help appreciated.

I would think the shocks should match what you are taking off. Some of the auto adjusting type shocks mount upside down from conventionals. If they don't match what is coming off, I would go back to the store. You can also double check the part numbers online.

A word of caution, it isn't recommended to mix the shocks with one type on the front and one type on the rear. They tend to work against each other and there is no improvement in ride.

I have a set of Edelbrocks and haven't been all that impressed. Personally, I prefer the Monroe Magnum. I would like to try out a set of adjustable shocks like Rancho or ProComp.
