show me your tires!
The time is coming to get new tires for my 05 Z71. i want to ditch the factory 17's for some 16" wheels and a little bit wider tire. I need a stiffer sidewall tire for towing, more like the 2500HD load rated tires because i hate mushy steering and swaying from these paper thin bridgestones it has now. I dont know what size i should go with, or rim backspacing. If some of you could help me out with some pictures and posting your tire size and what aftermarket wheels, backspace ect you have. I might keep a 17" on if i can find the right look, but theyre pricey.

Mine is only the most common on/off road tire out there.
I have BFG T/A ko's on the Silverado. Long trails on the Blazer. They will soon be Goodyear Fortera TTs.

Evansblue,
How do you lik the KO's on your Silverado? How do they wear? How well do they handle? Would you recommend them?
I have been planning to buy a set of KO's, but I kinda like the new Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac as well. At least, I like the looks of them.

I've got a set of 295/75/R16 Buckshot Maxxis Mudders on the factory rims with factory suspension on my 04 2500HD and have no problem towing a heavy load with them on there. In fact pulled a 5th wheel with two CAT skid steers and various attachments for them from here in Ohio to Indianapolis the other day for some work.
