I’m having the same issue with my 2011 Yukon XL. Has anyone determined the cause?

Were you ever able to determine the cause?

Try greasing the brake caliper bolts. If the caliper doesn't slide freely on the bolts, you can get a shake when heavy braking.

Default 2008 Avalanche Shudder

I have a 2008 Chev Avalanche 4x4 that has a shudder just before stop. I can put it in neutral and it will not do it. Feels.like torque converter not releasing when it should.
