Default Silverado 1500 Window Motor?

Passenger side window is going up pretty slow compared to my driver window, and it squeels as it goes up but I know thats from the sliders on the inside of the door panel. Does it need just a new window motor or something else?

I would change the assembly. Hate to do all that work to just have to do it again in a while. The track and cables wear and eventually fail.

Apply the silicon spray on guides or lubricate all the moving parts. This would act fine for two-three months, but for permanent solution, you have to change 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Window Motor.

silicon paste works better than spray if you can get that. if not, white lithium paste will work also, if not the bearing grease may work.

The anti-noise sleeves can cause a squeak noise too, in addition to the cable/pulley assembly, rail and/or motor and gearbox housing. This is just a suggestion, not a diagnosis. As for the slow speed, it may be time for a new motor. I encourage you to consult with a certified technician for an inspection and more accurate diagnosis.

Please keep us posted.
