What is a DIC?

I also have a 2011 Silverado, 6 speed. I don't feel any change from V4 to V8, or do I notice the change in the sound of the engine either.

do you see your light on your dash. my mpgs go to 40 then to 17 then to 40 then to 17 then to 40 then to 17 then to 40 then to 17 then to 40 then to 17 then to 40 then to 17 then to 40 then to 17 then to 40 then to 17 then to 40 then to 17 then to. I know the computer is tired of this. I get 18 - 20 on hiway, that is driving 60 or 80 mph. Not sure if I like it or not. It sure is pretty.

The DIC is the Driver Info Center, or the stack of 4 buttons to the left of the wheel. I didn't notice a change in cylinders till about 20k miles or so. I got 26k now. I don't have any mileage lights either... just shows (with the correct button pushed) my current mileage at that second. Nothing erradic either.
