I recently purchased an 04 Silverado, and I was looking to find a copy of the build sheet. How do I acquire one? My VIN number is 1GCEK19T44E136451 if that helps out.

 

A viable alternative would be to copy the "Service Parts Identification"

sticker(maybe get a picture with your phone) inside your dash

compartment. The three digit alpha-numeric system is called

"Repair Parts Ordering" or RPO codes. There are RPO codes

listed on the net.

The advantage to researching this series of codes, is instead of

seeing merely the extra "charged" packages listed on a Dealer Invoice

you can see the entire factory build history, including trim and

dealer packages.

You may also do a thread search, IIRC, a member used to do this

type of VIN search, but if memory serves, he had dealer access.
