Silverado Hybrid Fuel mileage problem
When I bought my 2006 Silverado Hybrid in June 2006 it got 18-20 MPG like the "sticker" indicated. In Jan 2008 the transmission failed and had to be replaced. After that, the fuel mileage dropped to 16-17 MPG. Four different dealers were unable to find a problem. Recently the stator cables shorted and the transmission had to be removed to replace the stator. Now the fuel mileage has dropped to 11-12 MPG. Any suggestions for where to look to solve this problem? The fuel system was cleaned a few months ago and slight but temporary increase in fuel mileage was obtained.
