Try hitting the tank a few times with a rubber mallet while someone is cranking. If it starts you need a fuel pump. Try spraying carb cleaner in a vac line or into the t-body (you must have the air tube pretty close) while someone cranks it. PCM B fuse is the power into the fuel pump relay. You most likely have a bad pump.

It will start spraying starting fluid in the throttle body, but not stay running. Beating on the gas tank while someone cranks it has no effect. How would I go about testing the fuel pump before I have to drop the tank?

Unplug fuel pump connector and check for power while cranking. It is almost sure to be a bad pump

If your under the truck when someone turns the key on you can feel the fuel pump buzzing.still think its the fuel pump? Sorry, just would hate to go through dropping the tank and spending $250 on a new pump without being pretty sure. I guess i am just still worried it could be a security system problem, mostly because the security lihht never comes on at all.

Just because the pump is buzzing it does not mean it is pumping. Get a fuel pressure tester and see if you have fuel pressure.
