Default small lift

aye guys, im new to this forum thing but i got a 97 1500 4x4 with the z71 pkg and im considering on getting a small lift for it. I was scoping out a 2.5" rough country kit that comes with upper control arms, a diff drop, torsion bar keys, shocks, rear AAL's, etc. If anyone has this, whats your opinion on it? Also any other opinions or tips would be appreciated!

How about instead of cranking on your torsion bars to get a lift, do it right and get a full suspension lift. Do it right the first time.

i have a 4 inch trailmaster lift with everything you named off. im really happy with it but the only thing i dont like is how the torsion bars are exposed. it is alot of work also. it took me and a buddy about 16 hrs and about 100 beers to do mine. if your gonna do a lift i would go at least 4 and i would look at better lifts. rough country is a really rough ride. your prolly gonna want to do the bally joints also.
