spark plug

I would get high performance plugs, but the thought of buying 8 high performance coils & wires for my truck just makes me sick. Id say just use what you think your happy with, but you can never go wrong with dealer parts.

It all depends on a lot of factors and variables. My dad got 130k out of his stock ac delcos, when we replaced them, they didn't look like they had half that. My stepmom had a toyota camry with the stock bosch in it. Almost 200k as of right now, still no problems. I once got 30k out of acdelco's then got over 100k out of ngk platinum iridium whatever they are called, so that's what I stick with. So I think it's whatever you have the best luck out of is what you should use.

I'm running Bosch Iridiums in the Blazer. Seems to get a little better mileage, but what I have measured so far is, for the most part, inconclusive.
The Silverado likes its ACDelco plugs and the Camaro will gas the plugs unless they have multiple groundstraps, so I have NGK Iridiums on it.

Good points EB, those 4 & 2 ground tip plugs dont give you 4 or 2 sparks, the spark will only go the closest ground tip down to the millionth of an inch.( I watched one I had , I hooked it to a Neon 15,000v transformer)It jumped from one ground to another but it did like one particular tip the best. Even if you did get 4 or 2 sparks it would be 1/4 or 1/2 of the power of one strong spark like the standard ground tip iridium & platnium plugs. Platnium isnt bad, just wears out quicker than iridium.( I noticed metal/platnium hairs growing on my bosch tips, that throws your gap off too) Iriduim conducts electricity better and are one of the best on the market right now, but you can only notice that on a computer readout not in the drivers seat in my opinion.
