Default Spark Plugs

Hey guys; First post here, I'm excited to be surrounded by other Chevrolet Enthusiasts.

Anyway, to the point; I drive a 1998 K2500 Silverado with the 7.4L L29 Vortec, 152k miles.

I've heard that some vehicles respond better to OEM spark plugs, and I was wondering what you guys personally recommend for spark plugs for my truck.

I'm considering the Denso Platinum TT, or E3 Spark Plugs, but I'm not very knowledgeable in the Spark plug department. I'm willing to take any recommendations as well, these aren't my only two options.

Also, would anyone know the spark plug gap for my motor?

Thanks in advance, guys!

Some people swear by HALOS, and I believe they actually make them for your engine. I wish they made them for mine.

In any event know this :

It's been my sad experience that whatever the manufacturer claims for their plugs life, cut it in half. Therefore, for instance, if a manufacturer says "These plugs will operate trouble-free for 100K miles!" you better get busy at 50K and change them.

I've been impressed with the valvoline synpower that I have right now. Royal purple will most likely be my next oil. I use NGK iridium plugs.

Put Ac delco plugs in. All those fancy ( E3, Split fire, dual tip, 4 tip etc...) are a waste of money
