Spark Plugs Bad 2012 Avalanche

2012 Chev Avalanche, 91k, spark plug #1 gone bad 2-3 times, dealer thinks it's rings, cracked piston, or carbon build up. I have warranty, but if carbon, then I'm paying dearly. Any thoughts?
