STUCK IN AUTO 4X4
<FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2>HI, I hope someone can help me. The other day I put my 2000 4x4 SILVERADO into AUTO 4X4, everthing was good. Today I went to put it back into 2 WHEELDRIVE and it will not go.Can anyone give me some things that I should check, to see what could be wrong.</FONT></P>

STUCK IN AUTO 4X4
Have you checked the switch to make sure it has not gone bad. Check, maybe by a dealer, any service codes the truck might display. The switches do go bad from time to time. If you are not sure how to check it...Have a local shop or the dealer check it for you..

<FONT style=": #c8e0d8">I talked to a guy who had the same problem, and he told me to put the truck in reverse and then push the 2 wheeldrive button, it worked. He said that on trucks that don't use the 4x4 enough, it will stick. He told me to put in into 4x4 once in a while to keep all the parts lubed and working. Thank for your reply, and I hope this will help someone else with the same problem.</FONT></P>
