My 94 Silverado rides pretty stiff. Still have the original shocks and they are in good shape. I noticed when I rode in a friends 2005 it was a much "softer" ride. Both trucks are K2500HD Diesals.
What has GM changed to make the ride smoother? Is there something that I could do (short of major work) to soften up my ride? I love my truck and it will outlive me, (I'm well past 70) only have 141,000 miles on it, still get 17 to 20 mpg depending on with or w/o air, never pulled anything with it, and all but 2000 miles are local. Now would be a good time to make improvements as it is in my garage being refinished.
Appreciate your thoughts.
