My 01 needs some new shocks. Where can I go or where can I buy and wont get ripped off. Since I don't know much about suspension can someone please name other parts I would need or some good brands to go with.

 

Theres tons of brands out there like trailmaster,rancho which are both good brands. It all depends on how you want your truck to ride or do you want to constantly change how it rides. Both brands sell shocks that allow you to change the damping some while you are drive if you want. See if you can find a shop in your area that deals in lifts or lowering what ever you are doing and get some ideas from them. You can also go directly to the manufacturer and look at their products.

 

Go to AutoZone they offer LifeTime warranty on thier shocks. Not too bad for price and good quality. I just put a set on my 95 1500. Cost me 33 a shock, IIRC.
