Suspension swap

Has anyone put a 1999-2006 1500 suspension under a 96 1500 or similar truck? If so what was all involved with the swap?

the spring eye bolts used on the front of the new spring's are larger in diameter . why do you want the new body style spring's they are weaker than the older body style ! are you after ride ?

Well I'm trying to see if it's easier to swap the suspension or completely fabricate a lift for it. It's our bogger and I can't find a lift for my truck higher than 6"

prob be better off lurking around some of the 4x4 web site's to see what they are doing before you jump in and do some thing you will regret later .

best thing to do for a big lift is to do a solid axle swap on those because the ifs limits the lift and make a custom lift kit. if it's a bogger than you must not be looking for ride quality
