Default swapping out to a larger alternator 06 silverado

hello this is my first posting on this site and hopeful to get some good info i have looked around online but just haven't found what i needed. so i want to get a larger alternator for my vehicle i have the 145 amps but need a larger one for my sound system and soon to have flood lights and more lights added witch all will be converted into HID so i was wanting to know if there is a bigger alternator off a larger truck with more amps that will mount with out having to buy a rebuilt alternator thanks for the help in advance

they have 200 amp alternators at auto stores I think...or maybe just on the internet. I'm not too sure though. I'd get one at least that size with all that you'd be runnin

Yes ive seen that im not sure on what size I should get they have them up to 350amps right now my head lights dim when the bass hits in my truck at night so im not sure on the size

ive been reading on the ambluance alternator and wondering if i replace it to a larger one am i going to worry how much power it takes to run this at idle and worry about the belt slipping off
