Does anyone know the best method of determining the cumulative effect of a larger tire on the towing capacity of my silverado? I live near the beach and would like to have a slightly wider and taller tire for beach driving; however I tow a 10,000 lb trailer. I am considering the LT305/70R16 which has a 6.9% larger circumference.
