Default Switching to an electric fan

I have a 98 gmc k2500 and I'm looking to install a electrical fan, would I be able to use the air conditioning relay as my relay for the fan. I'd be changing the wires and wire a switch into my dash. If ya can help let me know! Thanks

Well I got it all bolted in and wired up. I've been getting high 12 and low 13mpgs so I'll post what I get once I figure it out.
