was going to post in ot lounge but figured it'd get more views here. so i called my local auto parts stores and no one carries that damn torsion bar unloading tool. wth. so does anyone have any ideas where i could get one by tomorrow morning? i just need to rent it i dont want to buy and pay 150 for using the tool once.

i talked to auto zone and the moron said they didnt have it but ill probably go by there in the morning and show them what im talking about.

well what u could do is buy it.. use it and return it.. ask them what the return policy is befor buying tho done this many many times.. just dont tear up the packageing

I have always used a strong C-clamp with the swivel foot removed, and you can press the foot back on when you are done. Make sure the c-clamp is of good quality so it won't break, just in case wear gloves and safety glasses.
