Hey guys was wondering if i could get a direction to go for troubleshooting this. I rebuilt my trans with some good advice from a reputable builder. It’s in a 03 Tahoe. I can’t the trans to shift to 2nd on its own. If I use my bi directional scan tool i can get it to shift to all gears and it drives good. Checked the line pressure and it was solid I can’t remember exact numbers. If I don’t shift it with the scanner it does show its commanding 2nd but just stays in first. Thanks in advance.

 

Let me know any kind of data you guys need and I can get it. Also it has No transmission codes.

 

Will it shift if you get up to 3,000ish RPM and let off the accelerator?

 

When I first drove it home, yes it was. Then 3rs and 4th just fine.
