Hi all.

I am having a problem with my 1998 c1500 pickup (4.3/4l60e)

The trans works fine except for the 1-2 shift where it slips when under any significant load. If I ease off the gas it shifts to 2nd and is fine.

Anything I can do to fix this other than replace/rebuild it?

ive had the same problem with my 4l60e execpt it was 3rd gear....turned out to be the 3rd gear shift "soleniod"
