94 c1500 4.3 4l60e
slips going from 1 to 2. will go to 2500 rpm drop to 2000 then shifts to 2 and rpms drop to 1500 . was shifting at 2000 rpm with a drop to 1500 at each gear change . have had a obd1 67 code (tcc code). was shifting fine with some slippage if i tromped on it but i had a new fuel pump installed and now its worse (why). ordered a tcc solenoid hoping it will help.
hope my rambling is understood. any ideas?

 

my 95 slips from first to second bad, goes from 2000 up to 2800 then down to 1500. not throwing any codes though. on my way home today shifting from first to second it did like a skip then shifted to second without rpm's going up. don't know why though

 

the check engine light won't show that there are codes for this.
you need to jumper the a b terminals of the aldl and read the check engine light blinks. to see if it stored transmission code

 

i'll have to look at that. any way to see what code by how many blinks?

 

jump a b on the aldl turn ignition on. your check engine light will blink.
you'll get a blink a pause and 2 blinks it will repeat 3 times.
the next series is your stored codes. mine was a 6 pause 7 repeated 3 times . when your codes are done the 1 pause 2 will come up again

 

need a transmission guru??????????

 

You need a new transmission or a rebuild. Once they are slipping "bad" they are done.
