Ok thanks for your help unplugged maf and it smoothed out. Weird.

No it's not wierd (I'll try to explain). The maf (I thought IAT sensor with maf) was the issue. The last reading the pcm had with a working maf is what was stored, what it's reading with a bad maf it won't recognize, so it reverts back to that last good reading. You MAY have a heated maf. To measure flow you have to have temp. I'd say the code you have is maf circuit low/hi, just a guess.

Just took maf sensor off its is nasty dirty in the little diodes
