Default throttle position sensor

i have a 06 1500 2 wd been having transmission shifting problems 1-2 was going to change the tps 2 stores i went to didnt list one for my truck another store gave me one but it dont match anything on my trottle body or intake. truck only has the trottle control on the front one sensor a little behind it on the top of intake and another on the back of the intake. any one no whats up with this

Do you have throttle cables or drive by wire? If you have the cable less system then your TPS is built into the throttle unit. That is why you can not find one.

it is all wire that would explain a lot. so if there was something wrong id have to change whole unit. is there any way to check this

Not without special tools and procedures. We try not mess with them an any cars at my shop, we send them to the dealer. On that note I have never seen a problem with one on a GM. I only have seen problems on Volvo and Nissan.
