I've had this happen twice in the last Month & wondered is just my truck or has any body else had this problem with NBS 07 & newer?

I used to have this happen on my 2001 GMC 4.8ltr. The throttle body would gum up, and the butterfly would stick(moreso) when the motor was cold. I would just take carb cleaner, and spray it down it's "throat", it always went away for 6-8 months after doing so.

yeah, just spraying works. to a point.
remove air intake hose, find an old tooth brush, spray carb/choke cleaner liberally into the throttle, open pintle valve with your hand, and clean crap out with toothbrush. EVERYWHERE. repeat several times. wipe out clean with soft towel, do not use paper towels.
Stay away from cheap gasolines! gumms throttle faster.
