Timing issue/Bogging Issue
I'm Wondering if any 1 has an idea i just did a manifold gasket on my 98 silverado 5.7 now i get the 1345a code however i have found tdc 1hundred times and set it for 1 but nothing seems to change it being 20ish degrees in advance now im wondering if timing chain jumped a tooth .. 118thousand miles please any help is appreciated .. i have reset the distributor checked the timing marks on the harmonic balancer all check out.... Im Stumped
Replaced everything with timing even the distributor
btw i had a check engine light b4 with misfire on cylinder 2 b4 i did the intake gasket

First off,It's hard to understand what you are trying to say due to lack of proper grammar.I had to read it 3 times...
Anyway...It sounds like when you stabbed the distributor in the block you have it advanced one tooth on the drive gear.
Pull the distributor back out and insert a long flat screw driver and rotate the Oil pump drive counterclockwise about 1/8 of a turn.
Reinstall distributor and watch for rotation of the rotor to the correct position which will be slightly back from where it was originally.
This could possibly allow you to rotate the distributor enough to to negate the 20* of advance you have now.
You may have to repeat several times to get it just rite, so your timing will be correct.
