Anytype of Mud terrains are going to wear alot faster on the road. If you want to go with M/T and still get good miles out of them I would go with the Hankook DynaPro MT RT03's. Alot of my buddies are running them and they are pretty damn good in the mud. They are just like a beefed up A/T that offers a little more side traction. Another Tire that I like are the new Nitto Trail Grappler M/T. I am not sure about the life of them. My buddy just put some on his truck and hasnt had problems and hasnt said anything bad about the wear but he only put them on less then a month ago so its still a little early to tell. Maxxis Buck shots are really good tires. They get alot of grip in the mud aslong as you arnt trying to climb out of ruts. They just dont offer any side traction really.
