Default Tires For 2008 Silverado Ext.Cab NBS 2500HD

I have the 2008 Silverado Ext.Cab NBS 2500HD, and its a rough ride when i go off-road or on one of those very old streets downtown.

I'm looking for the smoothest tires possible thats fits on my (17") factory wheels. (already changed the shocks) i use my truck almost evenly on and off road.

Friends suggested the all All-Terrain T/AŽ KO, i like the big size and the look of them but im not sure about the smoothness and how loud they sound.

i prefer bigger size tires to fill up the empty space below the fenders, but its really hard to find that tire which would not rub with non-lifted truck.

Your suggestion and time is appreciated

Thanks in advance.

Well I have an 04 2500HD with 285/75/16 Buckshot Maxxis Mudder's under it with no lift; but to me, a good ole farm boy, the ride doesn't matter that much to me. Although surprisingly the ride isn't as hateful as I thought they would be, the rough ride I think comes more from the fact that I cranked the torsion bars on mine and basically took the front suspension out from under it.

alot of guys on here will back up the t/a kos. they are obviously an all terrain tire. and heard they are pretty quiet. maxxman04 swears by these tires. he runs them on all his rigs. i would suggest to talk to him about these tires.

BFG all terrains aint bad. I'm runnign 285/75R16 on the rear. Their a pretty soft tire IMO. But I went from 245/75R16, and those were towing tires, real rough. BFGs last forever.

It looks like BFGoodRich All-Terrain T/AŽ KO is the way to go.
