I recently aquired my grandpa's 03 Silverado 1500 which appears to be a base model. I wanted to upgrade to tow mirrors with turn signals in the near future. I think I already know the answer but wanted to confirm it with the forums. My question is would the tow mirrors require wiring or not?

 

only if you require the power, lights and heaters to work. You can get manual tow mirrors at aliexpress for a good price.

 

Thanks for the feedback. That's exactly what I thought but wanted to make sure before bringing it in I probably should've looked when I had the door panel off. I'd prefer to work on it myself but wiring is something I just don't mess with. Manuals are fine for the time being but being from Minnesota I eventually want power and heated mirrors.
