I have a 2000 chevy silverado long bed pickup.i need to tow it from georgia to cincinnati.i tried to get a hitch from uhaul but,my truck weighs over the compacticity for there hitches. how can i get it back to cincinnati.

 

are you talking about a tow bar ? to tow behind a motor home if so blue ox is a well known manufacturer .

 

no im talking about a hitch or trailer.

 

is your truck a 1/2 or 3/4 ? new body style or classic ? drawtite makes some very heavy capacity trailer hitches up to 10,000weight carrying 13,000 weight distributing capacity .

 

it also depends on what the hitch is gonna go on because they dont make those heavy duty ones for all vehicles
