Alright, as most of you know I have new rims and Tires. the Tire pressure monitoring system is flagging off and on. It does fine for awhile, then says it requires service. I'm sure I can relearn the computer at a shop with a tech2. But I'm afraid, with my new blackbear tune thats already in the mail, dealership or elsewhere, their gonna reflash teh computer. Thats not gonna end my world, just gonna be a inconvinence of having to get the computer sent off and tuned again.

Has anyone had the TPMS deleted, and where did you go. I did a lil search, but no one said how they did it.

I have an 09 2500 and that TPMS is a royal pain in the ***. Everytime I swap my tires on & off from my winter wheels to my summer wheels I always tell the tire shop to reset those sensors to a certain psi and they always fail to do so . I gave up fighting with them. I just put a peice of black tape over the orange light on the dash. I mean I still have to press the dash button 4 times to get back to the odometer reading. I bought a set of H2 wheels for summer now so I don't have to worry about those sensors anymore. I'd rather just take them out all together.

I'm moving to a state with vehicle inspections. If the light is on, they'll prolly fail me. I need to figure out a fix. I'm going to wait for my new computer before I worry to much about it.

Why not put the sensors in the new wheels?

Are the sensors in the stock wheel stems? I reckon they are, but not sure.

They are attached to the bottom of the stem.
