Default Trailer Wiring

I have 2007 NBS and have question about the trailer wiring hookup. I have the 7 blade/pin that came on the truck, but i need the 4 pin adapter to be able to put either the LED light bar under the tailgate, or to hook up a light on the hitch reciever. Id like to find an wiring adapter where i can just unplug the harness going to the 7 blade/pin reciever in the bumper, and put something in there that has the 4 pin adapter wired in and still be able to plug back into the 7 pin adapter. I dont like the adapter i have found so far where you just plug an adapter in to the 7 slot receiver then plug into the adapter. I want to keep it clean and the wires hidden. Any ideas or suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
