So I have been having an issue with my pickup. I will be driving my truck and stop at a light. When I start going again my truck will start shifting hard from first to second and second to third. It doesn't happen all the time. Mostly when I have been driving for a while. Its weird every once in a while it just happens. It wont stop until I turn the truck off. But I can turn the truck off and right back on and it stops. Please help I have no idea what is wrong.

BTW had the tranny flushed and filter changed about 15,000 miles ago. Was happening before and it didn't hurt or help.

 

I would say shifting solenoid.
Do you have a quick shift kit? maybe an issue with that.
