Default transmission

Just had my 2nd rebuild on my 2000 gmc 4l60e tranny. Busted again after 5 months, i take it to the track alot but i bought performance parts for it, it just sucks, should i swap totally and get a new transmission. Which one should i get? I have about 400 horses on my motor.

I had this suppose well mechanic down herer where i live buy me a performance package, i guess he tricked me or something charged me 1500 dlls for it. Told me that the 4l60e tranny wasnt very good for racing. Im not sure what parts he bought, but i do know that i blew 3rd and 4th gear.

I heard the TH350something (its 350 allright) is very good for racing. Very reliable.
