The past few weeks while I have been driveing through the woods I have hit a few bumps in the road and my transmission keeps jumping out of DRIVE. A little annoying but I could deal with it. Until two days ago I was going through a bad mud hole and had to do it with a fair amount of speed and through the middle it got a little rough and jumped out of gear again and caused me to get stuck. What could possibly be the problem and what can I do to fix it?

sorry, its a 1992 chevy k1500

 

shifting solenoid?
tranny fluid full?

 

Will double check the fluid. And never heard of a shifting solenoid.
