im new to this but can u guys please help me............well all my problems started and just keep escalating...............first my differential went out last year around july....i took it to get it fixed and ended up getting anon slipdifferential..............after that i decided to get the k&n intake for it and the hypertech power programmer and it already had an flowmaster exhaust.................i could say my truck was running great and it felt like i had gain alot of power but then........in january of this year my truck locked up as i came down an over pass and skidded to a dead stop..............it took it to a shop and they told me i had broken my differential again...........then i took it to another shop and they told me the same thing but they also told me the reason was cuz who ever install the differential didn't tighten the bolts to torque...........well i got my differential fixed but when back to it original.......but on the first test drive i noticed a winding sound coming from the bottom og my truck when i hit 40 mph............i think it my be my transmission.............

Depends on your budget, but it can never hurt to get a beefier transmission
Also check your drive lines and U-joints they could have been damaged in the lockup.
