so how do i check the tranny fluid on a stick then. again its a 1997 with a 4.3

well on mine you check it at the hole where you fill it @(red circle)....that might be just mine thoughthis one is from an early 80's

so how do u get the screw out? what size align is it? i dont have one that big and i even tried 1/2 in drive extension and it was to small. thanks
