Hypertech is only good for 7HP max, with a Cold Air Inrake and a aftermarket exhaust. I suggest getting a custom tune. Bad thing is you already spent money on the Hypertech. I paid under 300 for my Custom Tune, and I can smoke any 6.0 that just has a programmer.

You got the blackbear tune, right? I was looking into getting one for my 5.7 but I'm not sure yet... Is it worth the money?

It was worth the money for me. I still need a crank relearn though. All the guys I know with the 5.7 love it to.

Tebow, the shift point adjustments are only for wide open throttle. For max power and economy we only suggest doing power tuning and shift firmness. If you are running the truck at the drag strip then we suggest messing with the shift points and rpm limiter, so you can adjust it where it needs to be when it shifts out.
