I have a 1990 K1500 and everytime i use the gas while turning my truck kicks multiple times until i straighten the wheel, any ideas as to why this may be

 

It's binding because you're in four wheel drive.

My 97 does that in 2wd and 4wd. Backing out of a parking spot it jumps while crossing the painted lines. Sounds like an accident happening when i drive and turn even very slow on cement at the gas station. Just figured it has bad ackerman steering.
