hi im new on this any sujestion acepted i have a 2000 z71 stepside ext cab my problem is that it feels like its pulling something very heavy also the haul/tow buttom not working and the 4x4 i can hear it engage but not doing nothig idont know if that has something to do with that

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

I'd look into preventive maintenance first. Replace the tranny filter and fluid.

Replace the spark plugs and air filter.

What is the vehicle's mileage.?

My GF has a 2000 1500 4x4, it's one of my favorite vehicles.
