I have a 78 K-10 that belonged to my father-in-law who passed before I knew him. The truck had a gm crate engine dropped in and I'm sure it was the cheap, low hp (190) one. The motor only has around 6000 miles on it, but sat for several years un-driven. My goal has been to get it to 300 hp and still be a daily driver if possible. Just not sure what the best way to do it is? I planned on using the Edelbrock performer pack (intake, cam, carb) and maybe the MSD ignitition pack w/ headers and flowmasters, but I just don't know if that is enough. Please give me your advise.

Sorry, its a 350. I don't know if its 2 or 4 bolt, but I know he spent around 1500 for it brand new.
