Tune-Up?
Hey guys. I recently purchased an '09 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 106k miles. It's at about 108k as of this writing.
When I first got it, the check engine light was on due to the vent solenoid needing to be replaced, which I did and the check engine light went away. However, I want to make sure I stay up to date with the maintenance and service, and was wondering when is it time to get a tune-up?
I called my local Tires Plus yesterday and they told me tune-ups are required normally when the check engine light is on and/or the truck itself is acting up, or every 100k miles.
The truck is working perfectly, but like I said it's at 108k miles. Should I consider a tune-up at this time?
Thanks in advance, God bless.

Welcome to the forum, I would go with a full tune up, plugs, wires, belts and even consider doing hoses and coolant...
Use the OEM plugs and wires, there is no magic bullet aftermarket plugs that will give you better performance or MPG....
