Default RE: tuning questions?

well only had it on my 06 5.3 for about a month before i traded for the Vortec Max. i had 75% removed. anyways saw about .5 mpg more but i only drive in the city so it sucked to begin with. i had the 87 octane tune and it was noticably better to drive. for a 3/4 ton 85% is nothing. the best way to keep your tranny alive is to watch your right foot. but occasionally slamming it wont hurt anything. you have a very tough transmission. you could also look into doing a transgo shift kit to help prolong it even more.

did you get nelsons to bump up your shift firmness? that will help too. as soon as i sell my four wheeler im getting one for the new 6.0. good luck, and have fun
