I have a 2001 silverado the blinkers started blinking real slow and would eventually quit blinking I replaced the blinker under the dash I got it at napa auto parts now it blinks real fast like if I had a bulb burned out but they all seem to be working, they do blink normal if I have trailer lights hooked up. should I go with a GM blinker any ideas thanks.

 

Probably got the wrong blinker for your system. The blinker they gave you is probably for a system with more bulbs. You don't need a GM blinker if you get the correct one for your vehicle. Does it do the same thing for the left as well as the right? Could there be some burned out bulbs that you are not aware of?

 

hey thanks for responding and yes it does both right and left signal all the bulbs seem to bee working I just told the guy at the parts house what I needed and that is what he gave me I will try another one and see what happens they are a pian to put in though.
