Default Velocimeter issue

Hi, my 05 silverado velocimeter just stopped working. sometimes works but it says im going a lot slower than what i really am.. how can i fix this ??

Velocimeter? Wow! I have not heard that term used before; so I assume you mean a 'speedometer'.

Check the connection where the cable comes out of the automatic transmission.
