Will the volant cold air intake work good with stock exhaust?, or would i be waseting my money?, ive had 2 silverado's before this new one, and im tired of the exhaust hum...can anybody help??

Why not upgrade the exhaust too?
I don't think there will be much of a change in exhaust tone.
But volant is great. So is airaid

as i get older i like things quiet, like i say ive had 2 trucks in the past with exhaust..just not sure if cai would help with stock.

Well you could get a quiet exhaust.
A flowmaster 80 series or up and it would be pretty quiet.

As for your question... I don't know.
Maybe an exhaust shop might be able to tell you.
